🥥 Paula’s Cacao Bliss Balls
Thanks to Paula for sharing her recipe at Saturday’s food demo.
These cacao bliss balls are perfect for a healthy snack or post-workout treat.
Ingredients
50 g flaxseeds (linseeds)
1 tbsp coconut oil
180 g raw unsalted cashews
100 g rolled oats
90 g pitted dates
1 tbsp coconut cream
1–2 tbsp rice malt syrup (to taste)
70 g desiccated coconut
30 g raw cacao powder (plus extra for coating)
Method
Add all ingredients to a blender or Thermomix.
Blend 30 seconds / speed 7.
Scrape down the sides and repeat 30 seconds / speed 7.
If the mixture is too dry, add a little extra coconut cream and blend briefly again.
Roll into balls and coat in cacao if desired.
Store in the fridge.
